Crazy Little Thing Called Cruz - 1st Birthday

Well any party with the word Crazy in it, is a party we want to be at. This little event, created to celebrate the craziest little guy, has some serious rock n' roll flare. Using a muted pastel color palette and 80's lyrics, Mom - who happens to be the owner of Runaway Indie Co. - set the tone for a day filled with fun, guitar solos, and a rock'n time on the wild side. An amazing team, which included stylist Styles of Mh, Balloonique, and Relevant + Raw, just to name a few, came together to make this party truly one to remember. "Styling events for a living is my passion so when it came time to decide on my son's first birthday I had so many ideas of what I wanted to do! I wanted to create something colorful and not a typical boy party. Cruz really is my CRAZY little dude so it was only fitting to create a "Crazy Little Thing Called Cruz" theme! Second Space OC was the perfect backdrop for this epic party.

This amazing backdrop by Relevant + Raw really left us speechless and had all the coolest elements, including hanging pieces and hand drawn details.

The insanely talented Velvet Fox Designs created the amazing invites, record table chargers, stirs, custom guitar picks, desert toppers, I mean is there anything this designer can't do? No, no there is not!

Love This Way LA made the event a little brighter with their illuminating marquee letters, reminding us all who the crazy party is for. These large letters are made even more fun with the balloon styles of Balloonique, her ability to create eye catching work like this is jaw dropping.

The Runaway Indie Tipsy Trike and Runaway Tipsy Trailer were a fun and easy way to separate the adult drinks (beer and wine) from the kids drinks on the Tap Trike (lemonade). Both the Trike and Trailer were customized to knock & rock the guests socks off!

All the delicious details on our fabulous sweets wall were customized with the birthday boy in mind. Our "One to rock" crazy Hapa Cupcakes cake & cupcakes featured all the colors of the party plus killer custom toppers by Velvet Fox Designs.

Every rockstar could have their name in lights, but what about their name in frosting? Well thanks to the talented Oh So Honey Bee crazy little Cruz got his name on multiple sweet treats. Thank you to Really Cute Sweets for taking these donuts to the next level of cuteness, we "donut" want to eat one, we want to eat them all!

"Woahhh oh oh oh sweet child of mine", the words have never been more true, especially when your talking about The Cotton Cart by Runaway Indie. This cart not only dished out cotton candy but also had a whole spread of sweets illuminated by this custom neon sign from Runaway Indie.

Because what's a party party without a rad Photo Booth bus like the awesome Malibooth. Not only did she look rad as can be but this party on wheels also captured fun photos inside her special back seat booth. We know you've been dying over the florals throughout this post and we saved the best shoutout for last, the wonderful Fleurish created the most unique and playful arrangements that couldn't have fit the metallic and pastel color palette any better.

This yummy charcuterie board was the perfect tasty treat from all the guests, little and big! Thank you to the wonderful Sunflower House Bakes for giving us all something yummy to bite down on!
